RHS Freshman Makes All-State Lions Band

Dustin Thrasher, a Freshman at RHS, was selected to be Mississippi Lions Band Drum Major for 2003.
I just wanted to post a follow-up to my previous news posting to let everyone know that my little brother, Dustin Thrasher, a Freshman at RHS, was selected among three Drum Majors who made call-backs for Lions Band Drum Major. The other two guys competing against Dustin who were seniors and Drum Majors at their own schools, I might add, were very good. However, we are very proud that Dustin was selected to be Mississippi Lions Band Drum Major for 2003. The Lions Band will be traveling to Denver, CO in July to compete nationally. As I said before, Dustin has worked very hard for many years and we (his family) are very proud and excited to see that all his hard work has paid off. CONGRATULATIONS Dustin, we love you!
