It has taken several weeks of development to get the Photo Gallery section up and running but it is now up. Read More for details!
Gallery Changes
Let's see, where do we start? For starters, the Photo Gallery page has been completely reworked. Instead of showing links to images it now displays a "thumbnail" view of each picture located in the database. Pictures are sorted by the user who uploads them and are linked to the original picture that was uploaded.
User Home Page Changes
I also made changes to the user home pages. The changes are as follows:
1. Thumbnails of each image you have uploaded are displayed on your page
2. Restrictions have been added to how pictures can be uploaded. For example, the name of the files a user uploads cannot contain the following characters: spaces, & % $ # @ ! " ' ~ . Please double check that your images adhere to this standard before uploading.
Coming Soon!
Coming soon we are going to allow users to upload pictures related to each class. These pictures will be added to each class home page. This has been a requested feature from several of our members. We are still in development about incorporating a photo album for each class. This will probably require the help of the library at the High School to do this. If anyone has a way to assist us with this, please let us know.
