RHS Band Readies for a New Marching Season

The RHS Band gets ready for their upcoming marching season...
The RHS Band is getting ready for the upcoming marching season. Their new theme "Gangsta Jazz" is catching lots of attention. Other band directors in the state are nervous about Ripley's new marching show. This year's music, graded a level 5 out of 6 levels, is considerably hard. It is harder than any music that the Ripley Band has ever played. In fact, Mr. Cunningham is sure that the band will win a state championship this year if they work hard to get the show to near perfect.
The students of the band are working hard to win another championship.They are hoping that their show will be as good as last year's action filled theme, "James Bond - 007". This year's theme will be based on the 1920's, the times when gangstas roamed the streets. The students are excited about the new theme.
The RHS Band recently had a summer band camp in which they learned the music, sets of the marching show, and marching technique. The students of the band are anxious to present their show to the fans. They can't wait to see the crowds reaction.
