Why don't you provide a calendar of the current school year's sporting events, holidays, staff development days, etc?Actually we are working on an events calendaring system for the site. We are about half-way through with the system. Currently we are trying to come up with the best possible way to build it so it would be more beneficial to the school system.
With that said though, we need the support of the school to pull off a calendar properly. Things like, who is authorized to insert calendar events, how do they get approved, who does it, etc. all need to be worked out. Until that happens, us putting a calendar on the web site will not solve very much. The tools and resources are available to make things like this happen, however, the school has to adopt the technology to make it work. So, start getting on the phone with the people in charge at the school, they are the ones which have the information, not us.
